SJ is an Ohio based hip hop recording artist that strives for authenticity in his music. He uses real life experiences to help others so they can grow through life together. Music to him provides an outlet and allows him to use his voice to have an impact. SJ isn’t typical by any means and embraces being different while encouraging others to do the same. His music is for all listeners and won’t be boxed into any particular genre. He wants to use his abilities to point others and help people no matter what stage of life they are in. 

His EP “Journey for the Lost” does just that and invites all to come along on a journey through life together. Throughout this project, you will hear messages of faith, love and hope. With this, it brings a sheer vulnerability that pushed him outside of his comfort zone. The EP includes his debut single “Lost & Found”, which looks at finding purpose in life. SJ says “Like all people, I have been, and still am going through a lot. “Journey for the Lost” is me using these moments of struggle to impact others and help listeners heal and grow along with me.”
